You may remember a couple of weeks ago, a group of cyclists with Pi Kappa Phi wheeled their way through Lubbock on a "Journey of Hope."
The group is one of three teams cycling across the nation to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. On Wednesday, the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services recognized the fraternity with a Dignity Award, for it's exemplary service to Texans with disabilities.
The ride is a part of the groups "Push America Campaign" that aims to enhance the lives of people living with disabilities. While they were in lubbock, on July 12th, the group stopped at the Lubbock State School for a visit. Pi Kappa Phi and the two other teams will land in Washington DC on August 14th.
